So we came up with a solution.
Where We Started
Healthcare suffers from one dominant, overarching problem: the quality of care is too low and it costs too much. Since the beginning, our mission has been to solve this problem by providing solutions that deliver the right information to the right people at the right time
It all started because emergency medical service (EMS) professionals didn’t have real-time information on patients prior to arriving at the hospital. So back in 2005, we developed a solution that provided web-based data analytics in the pre-hospital care field. This pre-Affordable Care Act solution centered on providing a complete digital picture of a person’s health that was available in real-time to everyone right when they needed it: patients, first responders, hospitals, and ER physicians. Following the sale of this technology, we focused our efforts on addressing the quality and cost problem through a next-generation, cloud platform. With our vision for connecting stakeholders, solutions, and data as a foundation, the Affinitē platform was born. Today, Affinitē delivers an expanding suite of advanced clinical applications for the healthcare ecosystem. We believe Affinitē represents the industry’s only cloud-native, end-to-end platform that seamlessly integrates data science for plans, providers and members. We are excited and hopeful about the future of healthcare.
